If Air Around The Earth On Gather

If Air Around The Earth On Gather | How many parts of the planet is made of water? Actually very little. Although water oceans cover about 70 percent of the earth's surface, the oceans are very shallow compared to the radius of the Earth. The picture above shows an illustration of what would happen if all the water on planet Earth (precisely on the surface of the earth) gathered into a ball.

The radius of the ball is only about 700 kilometers, far less than half the radius of Earth Month, but slightly larger than Saturn's moon Rhea who, like most months outside our Solar System, most of it is water ice. How does this come as much water as Earth's and was in and whether there is a significant amount of trapped far below the Earth's surface will remain a topic of research.
